Night Hike.
What can I say? Pr0x. Pl0x. Totally, a fun filled night, and I'm proud to say I completed the 21 km route without lagging behind. Well, it has been a sort of a personal challenge to me, and at the same time its more or less a test on how much my general fitness has improved after I started putting effort into training. If you ask me, 01 has become much more than just a group of friends, more than just schoolmates within the same CCA. My batchmates have become part of my motivation to strive on, and work harder, to look, feel and be better. Thanks, guys.
At the same time, as narcissistic/egoistic this might seem, I'm rather proud of the fact that my legs are a lot more toned than a year ago.
Coming on to other things, I just realised how important night hike is. We were hiking from 7pm to about 1:45 am, and well, i can say it was time well spent. I interacted, I talked, I sang, I ran, I walked, I shouted. It was a great experience.
I don't actually think I'm typing coherently at the moment, that's what going for more than 24 hours without sleep does to you. Rather tired, legs are aching. Yet I'd much rather not sleep, and wake up to even more achy limbs. Ah well. And I'm really hungry. But after what an entire night of MacDonalds and a MacDonald's breakfast, I think it's time to think about my health, and go without eating, at least without lunch for today.
And by the way, thanks for supporting me, and giving me some sort of company when I was bored at points of the hike, and not complaining when you received a message from me at 1:45am >_>.
Time to learn the ways of the WindWalkers.
