Nothing much has happened to me over the past few days, other than the fact CTs have started. Well, yes, the dreaded Common Tests have started, giving us no time to breathe as we try to cram as much as possible before the papers. Now that after today, English and SS are over, I guess that it's pretty safe for me to heave a sigh of relief as two of the 'write-a-lot' papers are over. This does not however mean that it's going to be any easier. If anything, it's an uphill battle from now on, with Chem and Maths on Monday, Physics on Tuesday, History on Wed, Lit on Thursday. It does have a little more breathing room than our other common tests though.
Well, RJC open house was a rather waste of time (for me), because other than the fact that I found out I probably can't qualify for their Humanities Scholarship Programme, I didn't learn anything else much. Other than the fact that someone who calles Guru Liao mean actually thinks he's nice. It's a rather big place, though I'm still not happy to leave the place I'm at. It seems like I'm afraid of meeting new challenges, with the intake of the opposite gender. I'd guess that it would take some time for me to get used to the fact that it's a progression for me, and I'd really have to adapt to the new lifestyle in JC.
Oh, and just to mention a hilarious incident that occured/has been occuring, Geoffery, the bossman, is now the object of some desires. It's pretty funny to see how 'freaked out' he can get, and at the same time it's amazing, actually about what's happening and all. Now I've got to go practice Maths, for practice makes perfect, and I do need that perfect score for the CTs.
I mean, in my calculations so far, to get an overall 60% for Maths for the entire year, I'd need to get 80% for this CT. To get a 70% overall for Chem for the year, I need 72% for this CT. Therefore, let me waste no more time and get started on the mugging / revision / cramming / memorising / preparation-for-regurgitation / understanding-concepts / mugging. Bye all.
