Well, after reaching home at midnight last night, I didn't really have the time to blog about what caused me to reach home so late, namely the NYGH choral night.
So, there I was with Roger and Adrian (aka slice) and we were sitting at the front left corner of the second floor. Basically, a screwed up view of the stage. Not that it mattered, I suppose, with the constant ribbing of Adrian and the attempts to throw each other off the balcony. It was fun to meet up with someone you didn't know, and I guess I've learnt more about the people I talk to.
Well, choral night itself was fine, or rather, the Sec 2 items were fine. In fact, they were pretty humourous, though rather much in the form of a self amusement park. There was plenty of good acting, though the dance things were severely overused. I do think that they attempted something like the Moor play in one opf their dramas where a chorus surrounds another cast member and starts shouting. Failed pretty much though, their voices were too soft and too high. The Sec 1 items, however, really grossed me out. My aversion to Chinese was really tingled during the few performances by the Sec 1s. I'm so lucky I didn't have to do that ;)
Not to mention that after the performances were over, it was time for flower distrubution. Having been too lazy to go down to Kovan for the cheapest flowers in town, I just visited Raffles Florist for roses =). Hope you all enjoyed the flowers, yea? ^^
Well, then after that we (Roger and I) ran to Aaron Tan's house and wasted about half an hour in doing so. I mean, running around at 10.30 pm in a secluded private housing estate is pretty idiotic. But it was fun anyway. Heh.
All in all, a night to remember, a night of fun and laughter. Laughing at, not with them. If you get what I mean, that is.
