Anyway, went to the indoor range today to catch up with my archery skills... went with Prisci and her friend Shi Tien... ok, I just realised that the bow I'd been using all along was not 28 lbs as I thought it was, but instead it was 24lbs only >_>" Man, my hand's tired from the drawing and all that ._." and it's super unsteady trying to shoot when your hand's trembling from tiredness... haha...
So anyway, I'll be trying my best to get in some more practice time before my trials on wednesday, though I doubt that I won't be able to get in... haha ego a bit x) but yea... Looking forward to it =)
Well, anyway, comparing canoeing to archery, the simplified thing about both of these sports is that I'd be able to take part in competitions, archery more so than canoeing. But anyway, I've realised that my interests lie with archery, but the fact that getting a good bow is really expensive and the other fact that canoeing would give me this really buff body actually makes me think twice. Would I want to live on a wooden bow for the next two years? It doesn't make sense to me to spend $2000 on a metal bow for two years, but then again if I decide to continue on with archery as a sport, then why not? It'll be hard to make a decision...
